Fifty Shades of Hate

Fifty Shades of Hate

Within the passage of page 38, the description of the differences between separate feelings of hate are emphasized. Hate is described in the sense through the eyes of light. There is hate In the name of light and in the name of darkness. “We hate hate itself,” elicits the difference of hate between how “we” hate the fascists and that makes it perfectly fine, due to the fact of that they hate them in the name of the light, whereas fascists “hate only in the name of darkness.” The juxtaposition between light and dark is clearly evoked throughout the use of different ideas in the sense of whether or not “our hate is better than theirs.” This quote reveals that due to the kind of light people have inside them causes one hate to be better than another. Though this is not clear, because of the concept of different types of hate. One hate over another should be equal in the sense of hate, but due to the side of either light or darkness asserts that a specific hate coming from a different view point or position is able to cause hatred to be acceptable and better than another.
